Powell, United States Division Engineer, as follows: CINCINNATI DISTRICT. A dredged cut 200 foet wide and of bettu' than project depth along the Kentucky side at Little Scioto Bar, Ohio Kiver, has been completed by the dredge Mallery. Until further notice, traffic will uBe this dredged cut, the limits of which are marked by black can-type buoys along the Ohio side and by red nun-type buoys along the Kentucky side, The Mallery has commenced a second cut adjacent to the one just completed. Traffic will pass to the Kentucky side of the dredge through the completed cut. The Diesel electric towboat Victor, which sank in the Ohio River at Mile 458 June 30, was examined by the owner during the week ar.d preparations made to raise it soon.

The Kentucky River dredging fleet has completed scheduled dredging. LOUISVILLE DISTRICT. Dredge Taber completed a 500-foot channel at the foot of French Island Bar, pool of Dam No. 47. The dredge is now working at Pryor'a Island on the proposed 800-foot channel along the Illinois shore, opposite Pryor's Island.

Spoil Is being deposited along the Illinois shore with no obstruction to navigation, Dredge Harris continued operations on the Illinois channel at Walker's Bar. Dredge Adams is raising crests of Sisters Islands' dikes Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, now at an approximate elevation of 302, to an elevation of 306. PITTSBURGH DISTRICT. The plant employed dredging below Lock No.

9, Allegheny River, is now working in Area No. 3. The dredge Beaver is dredging at Greenfield Bend in Pool No. 4, Monongahela River. Estimated tonnage of coal for the week ending June 27 Is as follows: Motmngahela River, 484,355 tons, and Allegheny Kiver, 30,025 tons.

14, Ohio River. ZANKSVILLE DISTRICT. Excavated material Is being recast from the upper approach to the Lock No. 10 canal, Muskingum River. This work will he completed and the derrick boat moved to Bell's Bar, Pool No.
