The Detroit motor magnate, who has been too busy on many occasions to receive honors conferred on him, took time off Monday to pay an unexpected visit to Granville, Ohio, to see Miss Bryant graduated.

As she emerged from the chapel, diploma in hand, Ford kissed her on the lips as admiring students gathered around them. Ford came here with the girl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Bryant of Dearborn, Mich.

Dr. Edward Dewitt Jones of Detroit, President of the Federated Council of Churches of Christ of America, delivered the commencement address.
