OF "Society MR. AND MRS. ROBERT LEWIS HATFIELD are on a wedding trip to St. Croix following their marriage Saturday evening in the Coral Gables (Florida) First United Methodist Church. The reception followed at the home of Mr.

and Mrs. Jason Isabell. The bride, who was Miss Judith Jane Eikenberry, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rogers Edgar Eikenberry of Coral Gables.

Mr. Hatfield of New York City is the son of Mrs. Randolph Lathrop Carlee of. Jekyll Island, and the late Mr. James Tobias Hatfield Jr.

of Glendale, Ohio. Mrs. Edward Hinton of Miami, was her sister's matron of honor. Other. attendants were the bridegroom's sister, Mrs.

Philip Cushman Barney (Sally Hatfield) of Los. Altos, the bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles Eikenberry of Downey, and a niece, Cathy Hinton of Miami, who was junior bridesmaid. Mr. James Tobias Hatfield II of Glendale was his brother's best man.

Ushering were the bride's brother, Mr. Charles Eikenberry; Mr. Edward Hinton of Miami and Mr. Barney. On their return Mr.

and Mrs. Hatfield will live in Woodside, N. Y. The bride is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a member of Delta Delta Delta. Mr.

Hatfield also graduated from Miami and the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Ariz. He is a member of The Bachelors and of Phi Delta Theta. Friday Wedding MISS BARBARA REED, daughter of Mrs. George A. Reed and the late Mr.

Reed, was married to Mr. Donald L. Gilman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard L.

Gilman, Friday evening in Knox Presbyterian Church Chapel. The ceremony was in the presence of the immediate family. The reception will take place at the Reed home in late June. On their return from a wedding trip to Acapulco, Mexico, Mr. and Mrs.

Gilman will reside in Cincinnati. Married In East A RECEPTION AT the Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley, followed the Saturday afternoon marriage of Miss Dianne Maria Crawford to Mr. William Pope Anderson V. The ceremony was in St. Julia's Church in Weston, with the Rt.

Rev. Francis S. Rossiter officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Orme Crawford of Wellesley and of Mr.

William Crawford of Boston. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Grenville Anderson of Sherborn, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.

William Pope Anderson and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ditmars, all of whom lived in Cincinnati. After a wedding trip to Tahiti, Bora Bora and Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs.

Anderson will return to the States where Mr. Anderson will attend Ricker College in Maine this autumn. Edward Bascom Sortwell of Sherborn; Peter W. Clement Philadelphia Mroy and Mr. John M. Wareham of Rochester, N. Y.

Mrs. Anderson is a graduate of Beaver Country Day School and Briarcliff College. She made her debut at the Boston Debutante Cotillion. Mr. Anderson graduated from Dublin School and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Mary's Church in Hyde Park on Saturday with the Rev. John Cunningham officiating. A reception at the Beverly Hills Country Club followed the service. The sisters of the bride, Miss Joanna Baker and Miss Veronica Baker, were maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. They reside in Gainesville, Fla.

Miss Phipps also is the daughter of the late Col. Baker of Gainesville. Mr. Quentin Shafer was best man and Dr. Geoffrey Aultshuler was an usher.

Following a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, the couple will reside in Hyde Park. Mrs. Bethel attended the University of Florida and the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Bethel received his bachelor's degree from UC and his master's from Columbia University.

Mrs. Stephen W. Hiltz MATER DEI CHAPEL on the College of Mt. St. Joseph campus was the setting for the Saturday afternoon wedding of Miss Karen Ann Goetz, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. R. Warren Goetz, and Mr. James Leo Centner son of Mr. and Mrs.

James L. Centner. The Rev. Angelo della Pica officiated. A reception followed at Western Hills Country Club.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory silk organza and re-embroidered alencon lace trimmed with seed pearls at the Victorian neckline, bodice and long sleeves. Her veil was a Belgian lace mantilla, fingertip length. She carried ivory roses, stephanotis and baby's breath. Miss Susan J. Goetz was her sister's maid of honor.

Attendants were the sister, Miss Melanie C. Goetz; the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Thomas L. Buehler; Miss Susan E. Hengelbrok, and Miss Susan M.

Surkamp, all of this city, and Miss Rosemary Rizer of Springfield, Ohio. They wore floor-length dresses of daffodil and white floral voile print and natural straw picture hats accented with matching yellow streamers. Multi-colored garden flowers and baby's breath were in their bouquets. Mr. David J.

Chojnacki of Milwaukee, was Mr. Centner's best man. Ushers were the bridegroom's brother-in-law, Mr. Thomas L. Buehler; Mr.

Robert B. Hogan, Mr. Jerome D. Klefas and Mr. Daniel R.

Meiners, all of this city, a and Ens. Philip D. Parks of Milwaukee. The bride is a graduate of Ursuline Academy and the College of Mt. St.

SCHOOLFIELD (Roberta Swartzell) are parents of a son and first child, Kevin Jay, born in Flint, Sunday. Dr. Schoolfield is in residency at Hurley Hospital there. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.

Robert G. Swartzell of Mariemont and Mrs. Nathan Schoolfield of Indianapolis and the late Dr. Schoolfield, Greatgrandmother is Mrs. Guy swartzell of Cedar Rapids Iowa.

A detachable circular train with lace motifs was chapel length, as was her gown and mantilla of illusion and lace. She carried a nosegay of white roses, stephanotis and baby's-breath with an accent of pink sweetheart roses. The attendants were attired in pink chiffon dresses with long sleeves, stand -up necklines and vertical bands of ivory lace at the waistline. They wore matching organza picture hats with streamers. Mr.

Frederick Bazeley Jr. was best man and the ushers were Mr. Thomas Hiltz and Mr. Kenneth Hiltz, the bridegroom's brothers; Mr. Gregory Whalen and Mr.

Thomas Flottman. Fritz Wilger was ring bearer.
