m. As summary of the business of boats docking at the municipal wharf here in the last two weeks shows the movement of automobiles was light but other items held up to their seasonal averages. The movement of tobacco was somewhat above the average, while the number of passengers carried also increased The summary, covering the period startIng November 15, follows: Inbound--New automobiles, cream, 76 gallons; tobacco, 64 hogsheads (33 tons); miscellaneous freight, tons; passengers, 79. 'Happy' Less Joyous After Tilt With Law Harry "Happy" Harris, 50 years old, Negro, no home, whose smiling face appear in countless coal advertisements, last night was unhappily seated on a wooden bench with several sets of iron bars between himself and the clean, dustless coal pile outdoors as the result of an encounter with police.

Patrolman Harry Bitters, 54, was treated for a bite on his right hand and bruises on his left leg, and Patrolman Charles Kathman, 39, was treated for a bite on his right hand and bruises on his right leg at General Hospital as a result of "Happy's" teeth and feet. "Happy" became sad and proceeded to cause a disturbance the oil station of Eugene Lewis, Central Parkway near Vine Street. Lewis called police. Patrolmen Doll and Berry took "Happy" into custody and turned him over to Patrolmen Bitters and Kathman of Patrol No. 4.

Suddenly decided that Bitters and Kathman were "too happy" he attempted to make them "sad" like himself. When the battle ended "Happy" was sadder than he was in the first place.
