Job: Director of Education. People think my job is: They don't know. A lot of people say, 'Well, what is What I really do: Oversee all aspects of the Procter Gamble outreach touring program, oversee and program the Rosenthal Next Generation performance series, coordinate the Skilken- Brown intern touring company and direct two of the three shows. I oversee Adopt-a-School and coordinate workshops in schools for high school Bert Goldstein matinees. I'll direct Raised in Captivity (one of two intern productions in May.) My favorite part of my job is: Adopt-a-School.

I really think it's doing well. I went along on a tour. Black Theatre Workshop of Montreal performed at Hillcrest Training Center (for young offenders). During the discussion session afterward, a teacher asked the cast about their background, and what theater or music or dance did for them. There were six, and each one of them had a story, about how it changed the path of their life.

I also love working with the interns and directing. What I'm most looking forward to: Directing Raised in Captivity, then having some time this summer to reflect, evaluate how we did, what I can improve, ways to grow, how I can bring in some things I'd like us to tour.
