Miss Mary June Bell Private services for Miss Mary Jane Bell, 92, retired Cincinnati schoolteacher and sister of two local judges, will be held at the John Hodapp Sons Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage. Burial will be in Spring Grove. Miss Bell, a lifelong Cincinnati resident, died Wednesday at the Bethesda Home, 440 Lafayette Ave., Clifton, where she lived for the last year. Before Miss Bell retired in 1947 she taught in the Carthage, Mary Dill, Rothenberg, Vine Street and Avondale schools for 45 years. She was a member member of the Cincinnati's Woman's Club and the Clifton United Methodist Church and formerly was active in the Hamilton County Women's Republican Republican Club. Miss Bell's brothers were the late Samuel W. Bell, who was a Municipal Court judge for 28 years, 26 of them as presiding officer, and the late Charles S. Bell, who sat in Common Pleas Court for 38 years and at one time was on the Ohio Supreme Court bench. A twin sister, the late Miss Alice Logan Bell, who died in 1960, was a teacher at Withrow and Western Hills High Schools. ! Miss Bell leaves a niece, Miss Ida Mae Bell of Carthage, a real estate saleswoman, and a nephew, Charles E. Bell, Clearfield, Pa.
